Registration looks a little different this year. You will register for the Friday night dinner on a separate form after you register for the conference. The link will be in your registration email. Also, in order for the committee to be able to properly plan to accommodate as many people as possible (and avoid what happened last year when we sold out) we will CLOSE REGISTRATION ON SEPTEMBER 5. There will be no late or walk-in registration.

Tina Sebestyen

Tina Sebestyen keeps bees in top bar, Langstroth, and long Langstroth hives. She learned beekeeping from wonderful “old guy” mentors, as well as through mentoring others as the founder of the Four Corners Beekeepers Assoc. She runs 10- 30 colonies, and depending on the year, produces queens, nucs, or honey, does structural bee removals, and has raised queens for a commercial beekeeper. She is past vice president of the Colorado State Beekeepers Assoc. and is the architect and former program director of the Colorado Master Beekeeper Program. She is a frequent contributor for the American Bee Journal and Bee Culture magazines (along with some bee journals from abroad) from her farm in SW Colorado.

Cameron Jack

Cameron Jack is from a small farming community northeast of Las Vegas, NV. His grandpa was a sideliner beekeeper, so Cameron grew up around honey bees and beekeeping. He traveled across the country to pursue a Ph.D. at the University of Florida under the mentorship of Dr. Jamie Ellis where he began investigating methods to control Varroa destructor a devastating honey bee pest. In 2018, Cameron was hired on as a teaching faculty at the University of Florida and has been obsessed with creating a premier educational program that prepares students for the many challenges associated with beekeeping. He created and taught nine different honey bee-related courses and an online Beekeeping Certificate Program at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In 2021, he transitioned into an Assistant Professor position where he continues to teach and conduct research with his graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and many technicians focused on pesticides, pathogens and parasites that affect honey bees.
